Default Zeal 430mm on Trex 500 ESP?

Hey Guys,

Did you try the Zeal 430mm blades on your esp? I am curious to find out how they perform and how stable it gets with the extra 10mm of rotor disc.

There's a few instances in life where 10mm can make all the difference, in my experience this isn't 1 of them lol.
I run 430's, they sound better than align 425's but there's not a huge difference in the flight characteristics.

Well, at least from specs they run at 70gr compared to the Align 425D 57gr or the 425F about 62gr. It looks like a huge difference.

I should of mentioned that I'm not using Zeals, I'm actually using Lynx 430's (no longer available) I've no idea what they weigh but those zeals sound pretty heavy.

They are pretty stable. Probably more from the weight than the extra couple millimeters of disk. They hold HS pretty well in an auto, but I like my heli to feel light in the air, so I really wish they were lighter

Yes i also prefer light setup. My esp flies at 2450rpm and it feels so good in the air with 2650mAh packs. Now i am using Edge 423mm blades. This gives me 5min of 3D!

Im flying on Radix blades with 2600mah batts, but at 2800-3000rpm. So 3.5ish minutes of beating on it, or 4 of gentle tossing around
