Default Align 700mx fit on stock X50e motor mount?

Ordered a 700mx for my X50e build, received it today and noticed that only 2 holes in the aluminum motor mount match up with holes in the 700mx (the two elongated holes). I noticed that several people in this forum used 700mx's on their X50e. I am assuming that they just used two 4mm screws to mount the motor. Is this accurate and if so, is it safe?

Thanks raptorz499. I rigged it up with two screws, two washers, and a healthy dose of loctite (for peace of mind) and used the stock 15t pinion. Set the lash and everything looks good. Just have to take the plunge now and fork over the $200 for a HV120 Esc and the power system will be complete. Thanks for the response!
