Koby 40 Success w/1.08?

Just reset then reprogrammed with a fully charged pack (was previously programming with a storage charged pack). Same exact result.

Okay... I guess it's just "normal" for these ESC's to not govern well (even in a hover) at or around 80%.

Seems contrary to everything I see published, but I can live with it.

To answer my original post... I have not had any fireball or smoking issues with the Koby on 1.08. Apparently I max out the gov at 78%, but that's quite fast enough for me. I imagine ill spend most of my time in the 65% to 70% range anyway.

14 flights on it so far, with two motors (stock and 2520)... Seems to be a solid performer. Having fun, for sure!

Late to the party here, I'm on v 1.08 with koby 55lv. Running perfect even at 85 flat gov'd. No pulsing or HS drop off. Just solid.

Still have my scorpion in the box, and a replacement stock can un fitted. Still using the squealer can.

Quick update. I fitted the scorpion I've had since it was released. Head speed was a tad higher as the kv is different, however gov still worked flawlessly @ 40 flat. 60 flat and 85 flat. 4 flights so far. I just hope it doesn't smoke as it's buried inside the frames under the gyro tray.

I have many flights on my Koby with 1.08 and am pleased to say that I have y had any failures of any sort.

The throttle surging issue I was having before was resolved and was not related to the Koby, and all is working perfectly now.

What was causing the surging?

A bug on the FBL system which was allowing an erroneous throttle out signal above a certain stick position.
