Futaba CGY750 with Jeti

Do the Jeti receivers work OK with the CGY750 FBL system which is SBus only.

From what I know it will not work directly , futaba sbus is futaba only , I do think futaba has a go between for this type of issue . For jeti either ppm or udi is the only out .

Jeti released the latest version of their Rx firmware that had a separate file that supported Sbus output, but I am not sure if they have withdrawn it as I saw a message mentioning that at one stage. If you can get a copy of this firmware it should be plug and play.

There is also an adaptor that converts PPM to Sbus available from one of the guys on the RCGroups Jeti thread that would also work. I have thought about trying the CGY but as I already have more FBL systems than Heli's I have not done anything about it yet.

That's really cool. Is it only for the U.S. Version receivers? I have RSat2, is there a version for that that allows S.Bus output?

I also have an Rsat2 that I was planning using with a CGY750 via SBus.

I now have my CGY750 and want to see if it will work.

I just tried the update and it works! I'm using it with a Bavarian Demon 3SX but you should get the same results.

I set the frame rate to 11ms and output to UDI, then changed the input on the BD3SX to SBus and it worked.

I did have to change the channels centre trims and limits from my old PPM setup but it was a good change since the centres went from 5% trim to 0, and the limits were an +107% and -106%. This applies to BD, but may be slightly different for the CGY.

That's interesting because I can't get it to work at all.
As far as I can tell the CGY is not getting any data from the receiver.
Are you using Rsat2 then?

Yes I am. I also have a CGY750 that I am not using on a heli at the moment but I can test. Will give it a shot and let you know.

I wanted to test it for you on a CGY750 but I forgot that I had lent it to a friend. There shouldn't be a difference though. Strange... I would check that your output is set to UDI on the RX.

Mines on auto at the moment.

I doubt that is the issue, but mine is set to 11ms.

I have a CGY750 FBL unit working in my TSA700N. Transmitter is DS-14 and receiver R3L. I setup it recently and have still to adjust governor operation but it looks pretty well by now.
