According to my buddy.. it is repositionable. As long as you plug to same port. And the vcontrol has 2 momnetary switches one on each side of the radio.

As long as they can be re-positioned that works.

I thought I remember there being a change that allowed for dual throttle holds on the back which falls into the not as good, but good enough category. I love my locking switch.

That just leaves the lack of Jive telemetry support long term and an unknown time when Jive Pro and Kosmik telemetry will have a solution. It's definitely still out in the long term camp where I will keep an eye on it, but can't see using it any time soon.

Thats true.. I love the ease and simplicity of using jlog with the jeti. It's something that I have gotten use to as a standard in all my setups. Especially rpm, mah drawn, max power, and BEC voltage. Will be going nitro soon and am looking if jeti has some sort of rpm meter for nitro helis.

I consider not allowing JLog support for the VBC to be an incredibly foolish mistake, but I've made that point at length. At some point I could ask about it on the VStabi forum, but from what I've heard it is a dead issue.

That'll be the one thing that keeps me from moving entirely to VBC. Not being able to use Jlog is a big one, which as of now is the biggest let down with VBC.

Still very excited to try it, but until I have a similar telemetry setup as Jlog provides (that also works with my Jive Pros) I just can't see it replacing my other setups.

I thought it was common knowledge that you need to run 100Hz for the UDI signal to work properly. That article does point out that this is still the case for the latest receiver firmware.

So I ran into this situation when in tried to setup my r5l. The rx is bound but I'm not getting any communication even tho I set the output to udi. I checked the firmware on the rx and it was 3.13. Going to ff tommorow and my buddy has the programming cable for the rx. Got the 3.24 loaded on my laptop and will update it tommorow.

Johnjon,
What is the "level" feature on the rescue switch do for you? In the neo software the rescue switch shows "off" in the middle position, "active" in the down position, and "level" in the up position. I just don't know what "level" is for.

Thanks!

It levels the Heli and limits it to a bank angle you define.

I see. Is it tied to beginner mode then?

I haven't used the software, just the Vcontrol. In my radio there is just the beginner option which does what I described. I wonder if the level you are seeing is what you press to tell the gyro what level is for the rescue.

Hopefully I'll find time to play with my Neo setup soon. I'll do my best to document the whole process from start to finish to get it to work with my DS-16.

The Jeti defaults to 17ms for UDI. What is the recommended level? 10ms. I have JR servos and they buzz. This didn't occur when i still had my old TX (DX9).

Any suggestions?

Thanks
