Default Jive Software Update/Upgrade?

I am sending in a Pyro for service so figured I'd send in my J80Hv for new firmware as well.

On the service form there is option for Software Update, 10Euro or Software Upgrade 30Euro. Which am I supposed to check and what are the differences?
My current is Ver 7, should I even bother?

I think the motor has to go the Germany.
It fell off the bench and has a wobble now. The can has shifted form the top and needs to be reglued and pressed back together.

Would be nice is US shop could handle this.

Sending in a Jive to have new Firmware flashed so I ask this again.
Which box on the service form do I tick, Update or Upgrade?
Can't see what the difference would be, enlighten me please.

The upgrade option was way back when I think it was V5 before mode 11 and some features were added so it was like getting the Vbar pro upgrade.

Since then its just been an update
