Default Outrage Fusion

I'm trying to make some buying/selling decisions before we get too deep into flying weather. Is there an ETA on the Fusion Electric? Is it before the 90?

I'm curious too. I have the feeling that with all my 550 lipos.. I might skip the fusion and get a 700E... since 2x6s5000mah etc.. But I'd like to know what type of lipo(s) the Fusion is going to use.

I suggest you look into the Rave ENV. That's the 700 sized E-bird I'm going with.

You guys aren't waiting for the Velocity 90 Electric?

In all seriousness, Charley is working on the electric version of the Velocity 90 and it should be an AWESOME machine. From what I saw of a post of his, it is already at least 50% designed. We all know Charley doesn't sleep, so it might not be that long for it to be out.

I personally don't want a 90 electric, the 50 electric will do me just fine. The last official word ( I thought) was that it was coming before the 90, which made sense I thought since it shared so many proven parts with the 50, and also, it flew before the 90. I'm getting the feeling that that isn't true, or at least not anymore.

yeah Eric Brandenburg was flying it at Huntsville and was very happy with how it flew. He said on 10s it was great, on 12s it was really great lol. I think he'd be happy with either though, but overall he loves the Fusion.

Can someone clarify names for me? Velocity 50, now Fusion 90, so far so good. But throw Fusion 50 and Velocity 90. Now I'm confused...

I believe is close...

Veloctiy 50 is a 600mm bladed nitro.

Veloctiy 90 is a 700mm bladed nitro.

Fusion 50 is a 630mm bladed electric.

The Fusion name will be for future Outrage Electric helis, and Velocity will be for the nitros.

The Fusion 50 will swing 600-630mm just like the Velocity 50 can, and anything from 8-12S should work. Eric's vid from Huntsville he is using 12S 3000mah.

I just may go this way. Certainly going to be a LOT cheaper to repair than Align... remember even the 450Pro costs more to fix than the Outrage 550.

Plus.. I already am bumping my heli's tail and blades into everything... I can't imagine 700mm blades...

the Fusion 50 is as big of an Electric as I would want to go. Actually I'm not sure if that's even too big for ME. I like nitro on bigger helis. Certainly E's have more power and it's truely sick, but for me I like the fuel and go and go and go of nitro. Seeing Eric fly the Fusion though I'm very tempted to get one. After selling many of my helis and piling in all but one of my current helis, I think I need another now as a "backup". Yeah that's the ticket
