Well the cat is sort of out of the bag. The day 2 Helifreak IRCHA video showed the 3-axis gyro for the first time.

Skookum, can we get some hires pics, along with a feature list and estimated price? Obviously it'll be priced around the mini-V at $475. But hopefully it's cheaper and we get some decent competition going.

From the video we know it has:
-3 axis gyro
-Small built in LCD
-mini USB port
-Connections for external Spektrum receivers like the mini-V

Too bad it's 3 months behind the mini-V. Not sure I can wait that long.

I'm not impress with the Mini-V pricing, for a unit you cant use on 600 and above size heli.

If Skookum is able to produce this unit at $350-$400 range is going to be selling like hotcakes, I have been following this guy since the lunch of his product and he is very helpful and always upgrading the product, he is very knowledgeable about the product as well.

Remember when V-bar was $700 bucks no one was talking about them then, not until they reduce the price and used RH as the US distributor did they get the recognition.

Four months wait is not a long time when your are old, i'm going to hung in there.

Woohoo! I was hoping to see this good news. I will wait. Hope to see remote rx support and buy Canadian.

The mini-v pre-spin claimed the price point would be lower than existing 2-axis units; apparently that was a subset of 2-axis units.

if you watch the video and see the guy with the maniacs on the front of his golf cart,thats my buddy and those were my blades,i was so happy to see the new skookum i could care less about the blades.seeing that thing is far better looking than i expected,integrated receiver,didnt see that coming,i need more pics

I'm not impressed with the mini-v bar pricing either, but i loved my 360 before i had to sell it. Hope art can lock down a price soon. Also any word on the features? any auto leveling/ bail out ability?basic software/firm ware is a major plus.

I have a gyrobot on my gaui 200 and I gotta say it was easy as hell to set up. Only proble is that this is new tech and with soft devices like these, you really need an open avenue between creators and customers which Lf-Tech sorely lacks.

There's really no need for cppm styled set up on a flybarless system. Its analogous to an adapter plug...but with out the need for an adapter. I mean seriously dumb it down to gain and rate for each axis on the pc/lcd programmer and make use of the dula rate and expo on the rx. sure, throw in a swash ring in addition to the necessary servo directional, gyro directional, and swash leveling and your golden.

Keep the set up simple, price low and communication top notch as always and Skookum will be the name to go buy. Hell I'd buy it.

it already looks like they took alot of input from users when they developed this,with the amount of people asking for the bailout option we may see that but if that drives the price up i would rather do without that
