You got it.
Trust me on this setup. Make yours look like mine at servo neutral and it will rock. I have nearly 2000 flights on the 7HV's now. The tail design is powerful and tough and this works great.

The 7HV is still my all-time favorite heli. You will like it.

Default Can't Get Even Numbers In Vbar For 7HV Tail

Your slider is in the middle of its usable travel though which is what you want.

I guess I'll throw the notion out that the arm will be 90 degrees ever and call it a day! hah

Have a look here, where I went through the same thing.
All fine now.

It was just the manual and my tail was TE control from the factory

Default Done

Well I got my even numbers. I had to go down to the 10.5mm hole on the servo arm in order to get 95/95 in my Vbar.

No idea how the hell you would ever get numbers like that using 17.5mm like the manual says!

I didn't put the slider right in the middle of the shaft either. I blocked off 4.5mm of the shaft like the manual says and used that as my length to divide in half. Manual says it could stall the tail blades if you enter into that 4.5mm area. I can see how too, the blades are almost sideways hah

16mm for me.
Those measures are for V1 tail and do not apply for V2.
I found about 2mm to work well with 105's.
