Rebuilding a used 800 I bought. Which side of the ball link goes toward the main grip/swash?

Mine has the side with writing (looks like an M and maybe surrounded by a numeral or two) on the inside facing the ball on both the swash to servo as well as swash to grip links. I assume that side should be slightly larger at the opening but it's been a while since I did the build.
