I believe Edge are supposed to be balanced out of the box.

That said, I still never trust them and feel the need to check ... just as I never trust pre-assembled parts on a build for a helicopter.

Mine were not balanced.
There was a vibration in those and now I'm back to RJX or how are they called..
I tried to balance them but still they create vibration..
Nothing huge, and I could fly but my other blade run much smoother.

For me it's just wasted bucks cause now they're just sitting in my box.

Anyone looking for cheap barely used Edge blades?

if you even out the weight first at the blades center, then balance the pair.
grab the blades and try to bend them they both should be very stiff.
ask the place where you bought them to exchange them.


the fact is when making blades they can not make them 100% perfect out of the mold. they always use more epoxy than required and the excess seeps out. last step is they sand away the the excess from all around the blade.

like i said before the only blades i have bought that were prebalanced had tape on them.

they are a really good blade mfg, edge is one of the best. the blades i use on my other helis are from edge.

+2 .... get those Edge blades exchanged for a new set. I use these on ALL my models.
