Default Can the data log show you if the gov is hitting 100%

Hi Guys

As above really.

Can it show you weather the gov is running out of headroom either under heavy disc loading or through out the flight as voltage drops (i know RMP decay will show the latter)

Cheer

=] one way would be to map stick inputs to headspeeds, mostly we will know the correct pinions for our heli's and the desired RPM's.

I don't think so. For headroom analysis, you need to see your ESC's PWM output. When the PWM hits 100%, you've run out of headroom.

Jive ESCs have the JLog2. Not sure what other ESCs have for monitoring PWM.

If you are using the SK governor, then a log of outgoing throttle would allow you to tell, significant time spent at 100% signal to esc would mean the governor was having trouble. It should be possible to change the software on the SK to log that sor of information as well.

That's when the Jlog devices plugged into a Jive are really useful. You can plot the battery voltage and current being pulled and the percentage being pulled, so you know exactly if it is maxed out.
