I've stripped 2 Align JR wheels (HN6050A) so far on my 8717s. They strip easily—in fact they don't fit well at all. When installing them it feels amlost like they're 'cross threading' on the splines. Never had a wheel or a horn feel that funky. Like the plastic is soft or something.

I don't want to put metal ones on and risk wiping out the servo gears.

Sounds like a job for someone who is REALLY good with plastics or aluminum . 7005 would b soft enough , 6061 would probably be a bit too strong.

I MUST.... give credit (after re-reading my own thread) To....MY MAN........HIROBOFREAK, for calling the 4010 tape. I just finesed it with a spartan plate, but the real trick was his suggestion of the tape.

HIROBOFREAK.............

Credit where credit is due. Much thanx my friend!

WOO hOO! man! IM getting a failure every chance I get!

3G just keeps SAVING my heli, not to mention my a#$!

pitch side servo(8717hv) on my 700 TOTALLY failed!

MID-FLIGHT!

THE results were................CATASTROPHIC!

ONE servo for replacement please..........

I watched the 3 g pull EVERY trick outta its freakin little hat, that it could possibbly muster.

had just gotten done with an outside loop and was gathering some speed to do a forward flip and a little smack on the deck.............noticed it didnt wanna roll or ail. tictoc, so it FINALLY rolls and I put it into a hover and watch my swash jerk and fall and CORRECT and jerk and fall and CORRECT and jerk and fall and CORRECT..............all the while trying to put her on the ground, soft .......and easy.......

Finally got her down and shut the throttle off, went to check the heli and started to move the servo w my fingers.........loose as a goose, NO power, No response, not even a pissed off buzz....she was dead!

Well....looks like the heli angels save me AGAIN.

Till next update.......PEACE!

You still flying the Edge FBL on the 600? If so, you like them? How do they compare to the Align stockers?
