I still have a couple of 450's, which are fun to toss around.. After you get the feel of (and lose the scar factor) 600, 700 or 800 series, they are very easy to fly and much less skiddish.
Also, after test hopping them in a confined space you'd be amazed how easy it is to throw a 450 around in the same airspace

Ahhh, the long awaited pics. Somewhat like a cool drink on a long desert journey.

I got this one Night

That would be the main sensor for Co-Pilot II, we don't leave home without it

Default Houston.......Apollo 13...We have a problem

@ T - 34:00 hours to the start of the pilgrimage to the Holy Mecca of FMA, A serious issue has arisen......

The Fleet won't fit in my SUV ( odd they did when they were 600's and 700's)

So.... fall back plan "B"... Hijack my bosses Cheby Avalanche to drive down to FMA...

( Wonder how he's gonna take it??) hehehehehehehe.

What a great problem to have Night

Tell the Boss the cargo will give his Avalanche some class

Do you need someone to carry your bags

It seems to me that pilgimages such as this qualify as fully paid leave as well as healthy supplies of frankencense, myrh and gold. Since you will be receiving sainthood, it is only proper that you travel in a manner befitting your station. The boss's vehicle should not only be supplied, it should be fully detailed. There should be a fresh oil change, new tires and a full tank of gas. The boss's gold card should be on the dash board. A chauffeur would be nice but you don't want to push it.

Night man, you are a very unique individual.
I'm sure I'd have the same time and money invested If I could afford it. I love innovation and tinkering probably just as much as you. Life must be good! I may be on my way to diving in deeper to this very addictive hobby cause I just got a job for $8 more per hr than I was getting.
Dude, how do you get the time to build those one of a kind custom heli's, take good video and edit it, manage to keep all of your fans here wanting more, work, go to FMA and then manage regular life? You have GOT to be always doing something if you're not sleeping. No R&R ever, huh? I have found myself several times up waaay to late w/ work the next early morning focused on whatever it is that I was doing at the time on the heli...I can relate
Amazing and innovative aint the word for that werewolf man. Keep up the engineer style work!!
Can we say, jealous?

Funny that you would mention this.... turned out after I inspected his truck, it was due for a brake overhaul yesterday....

So off it went and had a rush repair job done,...New rotors all around and pads, oil change and fill up ( dam thing eats $100.00 to feed that monster)

Trust me when I tell you, I gave up and lost quite a bit in the last few years, and am now just getting things back to normal.
Building these machines is not an issue, No one ever believes me that I already have them built in my head step by step before I ever start.
Only trouble I have is, now that I make use of the talent and tools to make them, this old man is finding that it's becoming more difficult to fly ( eye sight is chity)

So I have to be satisfied in knowing that, if ever needed they can do what ever is put to them, but will most likely never be put to the extremes I intended them for.

As to time and $$$ you are looking to invest, a bit of advise.....keep a proper balance in life...family, friends...the simple thing to enjoy...
This is a hobby, ( unless someone is paying you), not a all consuming journey.
