Default Battery Question, G 700 Comp

Hello,

Does anyone run (or know of someone) Thunder Power G8 4400 MAH 6S on their 700 Comp and COG is OK?

Thank you, JEFF P.

All of it should be fine. Cog I hadn't really checked on mine but it flies perfect. Not as important on helis as it is say planes. Canopy fit is good as well

I didn't mean it like that. It is important totally but it's not gonna fly erratic like a plane would.

Interesting point and correct.
A CG to far aft in an airplane is deadly with a wing stall as a result.
A CG to far forward in an airplane limits your ability to climb and from that not enough control motion to compensate...you hit the fence at the end of the runway.

In a helicopter no matter if the CG is to far forward, aft, left or right laterally the result is always the same, limited cyclic control motion due to compensating for the out of CG condition to keep the ship level.

Both of course have their limits in CG, one is just more deadly than the other if it occurs.

All I can say, is my 4400s are pretty snug up against the actual canopy on mine. But cog is dead on.
