castle has started shipping ice2 esc out today. i was told on the phone those who were waiting for v3 will be geting ice2 pretty much who ever was inline for the past 2 months should be geting them first. hopefully i see mine this week

A mate of mine had his 120hv stop working 3 months ago and sent it in for repair before the first recall was even announced.He then bought another one to keep him flying untill cc could repaired his old one,just thought it was a bit of bad luck.After he had fitted his second 120 the recall came out but he decided to keep hold of it until he got his old one back.two weeks ago his second one stopped working while practising inverted hovering and had to do his first inverted auto!!He got an email today from cc saying his replacement ice2 120hv had been posted first class!Now all he's got to do is send back his second 120hv.

No I doubt anyone has they just started shipping yesterday .

Yes... I talked to one of their sponsored pilots who has put 5 flights on the new ICE 2 as of yesterday. No issues and says it is coming down cooler than previous models.

got my tracking number today its 1ZA27E280331215915089 they are shipping ups...dont know why ups we all know they are pricey and for a cheaper price you can get priority and have it in three days well anways i should be recieving it one the 6th or sept

tracking is fake # haha

Still flying my original 120HV will send it in sometime when the weather starts to cooldown here. I will be watching this thread and others regarding the Ice2 with much interest.
Hopefully, it has all the bugs worked out.

Just curious how long ago you sent yours in? They have had mine since August 8th, hopefully will see it soon.

I sent mine in the same day the first recall was posted I take in back. In june 20ish..

I got my brand new V-3 unit last month and have 10 flights on it no issues to report but I have since grounded the heli with the news of this new recall. Now will CC be repairing the V-3 units or is it a direct replacement? I will be sending mine in today for the second recall.

I think its a repair and new casing then again could be a repair and a new sticker instead of the lil v3 was sticker it will actually be a new ice2 but were the original ice 120hv was at...hopefully that made some kind of sense...

I just received an email that my replacement ICE should be here next Tuesday (via UPS). However, I am not sure which version I will be receiving, because I sent it to CC 2 weeks ago.

you very lucky to be geting your esc back that quick! im sure you will be recieving the ice2 the "ice120hv" is no longer avaible and i highly doubt cc would send you back a first adition or v3 ic120hv

I am surprised that I am getting this unit back so quickly. I agree with you that I will probably get the ICE2. I will find out on Tuesday.....
