I'm not sure how much they weigh, a friend of mine had them on his MCX.
They are made of aluminun, your fishing tackle is made of lead!!
That would be too much weight IMO.
Try small pieces of solder wrapped around the flybar first. (make sure they are equal length.)
Good luck!!

I am about to order the double brushless 4g3 now. My total is $347, $285 for the heli and the rest in some parts, 3 batteries, 3 blades, 1 extra charger. Seems like alot for such a little heli lol.

Less than $300 for a heli and spare parts... sounds like a lot? ... sounds like a good price to me! $300 is the price of a cigar cutter... http://www.altadisusa.com/accy/ctrTableTop.asp ... which one would you rather spend your money on? Last time I checked, helis don't cause cancer!

But they are so fun. Better than flying a sim.

Double brushless is sweet. There is one on fleabay that is single brushless but with a new radio with lcd and I think model memory $310 and free shipping. I read that it has throttle hold but it's on the left side switch.

They keep upgrading the breed, eventually I guess there will be double brushless with the 2801 (new) radio. Wonder how much that will be.

I just converted my helimax novus fp (4#3b) to a brushless main motor with upgraded brushed tail motor. (appears to be the tail motor from the CP.)
I had to change the receiver, add the esc and brushless motor and the up tail motor.
Cost $100 but I think it was worth it, I already had burnt a bushed main.

I also killed the main on my Novus CP (4#3g) just received the replacement walkera motor from club heli, FAST service and a hand signed invoice.
I'd definitely shop there again.

I have the Trex250 and the novus equivalents to the 3g and 3b.

The 3B fixed pitch (now single burshless) is the best for indoor as others have said. It is the closest in size to an MCX but blows it away.

The 3G is also fun but needs a little more space to do more than hover and do some slow circuits.

New radio, 2801:

I love the cigars myself. Bought some Cohibas last week when i was in the Netherlands. Got a real nice cutter for about 50 Euro too.
sorry, it is off topic ut i could not resist.

i have the 2801 tx and it is nice but there is no manual with it to speak of, just a 2 page sheet of the settings for the 4g3.

I'd plan on a table saw with a 12" carbide dado, drill press (floor model perferred), lathe, milling machine, and band saw. If you can squeeze it in, I would also try to bring a router table with you as well.

... oh yeh... almost forgot... #000 JIS Screwdriver, magnifying glass, and perhaps some fine needle nose pliers.
