Default question; spartan studio V1.10 question ....

is there a settings save function in studio 1.10 ?
if not, will it ever be added to this setup software ?

i enjoy my nano and setting it up thru either the pod or software is a breeze.
but i would like to save my settings and i cant find a save function in the spartan studio software. if it does exist, please let me know which menu tab it exists in...

thnx,
bp

No, there isn't a save function, a few of us have requested it.

Once Angelos has finished tinkering with the egov and releases the final firmware he will have to update studio to add in the extra features. Hopefully he will add a save function at the same time. Even just a text dump would be fine.

Default okay, its 2016 now ...

so, is spartan going to update their fbl software to allow saving the fbl setups to a .dat file, and of course re-applying them to the fbl unit ???

It's something Angelos is aware of, but unfortunately isn't possible without a major re-write of the Spartan Studio software.

It's something he'd like to add, but that makes it a pretty big project, and I think it's going to be a long while before we can do this I'm afraid.

It will happen when there is nothing more greater importance in my todo list. Right now rescue has made it to the top.

In the meantime there is save and restore functionality via Jeti integration which is something the TX already offered with minimal effort on my side. Yes, I fully understand that not everyone wants to use Jeti. I am just mentioning it for those who do.

Wait...

I can set up my Vortex, save all the settings in a Jeti radio, then restore all those settings say to a new vortex swapped in and go fly???

Is it possible to have my vortex fully set up and flying great. Save everything in a jeti radio, update the firmware and restore the settings such as cyclic rates, servo end points, etc....

That would be awesome!!!!!!

Is the save and restore function available on the Jeti tx and what does it allow?
