Default Total g with external rx help!!

I am hooking my total g up with my optima 6. I am having problems getting them to sync together. I have followed the instructions word for word. Anyone have a tutorial or some pointers for me? I have it all hooked up correctly however when I click "external rx" on the program, and turn off rx and tx then turn back on. It he light doesn't turn yellow.

Do I need the esc/power plugged into the Y connector or to the throttle channel on the TG?

Hi,

You connect the ESC to the throttle channel on the TG.

The Y connector is to power on the TG.

If your ESC doesn´t have internal bec, you must use a external power source connected to the Y connector.

You need to power your receiver. The TotalG will get it's power from the Y harness also. I found that I needed to have everything wired up for the TotalG to recognize the external receiver. I fly Airtronics with an external receiver. I have one lead from the BEC Pro going to channel 8 and then power to the TotalG power port with a heavy duty servo extension from channel 7 which I also use to adjust FC gain from the transmitter. The other lead from the BEC goes to the TotalG governor port.

Default Total g with external rx help

Thanks for all the help. Yes, Id be interested in any drives. I really dont know about the case, but i do think it has a fan. I cant see it not having one and running for as long as this drives been running. Im not good at taking things apart, so I really cant do anything there. How mutch are external cases? Could I take an old 20 gb hd out of an old computer in my garage and turn it into another external hd? Thanks again for the help.
