Gyro issues with Hitec head servos
Hi Guys,
I have recently set up a 600 Nitro Pro kit. I used a 401/9254 combo for the tail and Hitec 7965MG servo's for the head. For some reason if the hitec servos are loaded or buzzing the tail servo will vibrate. Doesn't seem to be an issue in flight. (almost 2 gallons through it so far). It does concern me a bit that the gyro is picking up the noise. If I grab the blades and carefully adjust the pitch so that the head servos quit buzzing the tail servo also settles down. I was wondering if anyone else noticed this or had a fix. Also I am running a spektrum DX7 / AR7000 radio. (soon to be a Futaba fasst system and hoping that the Futaba doesn't have the same issue.) Later

Can't help you on the Servo problem but i did have a hitec 635HB on throttle that would lock up full throttle because of the Nirto vibrations. try full throttle on maiden flight with a full tank of fuel. Thankfully i was running very rich. Going to a Futuba 9254 as soon as it get back from Futuba.

Is your 401 mounted on the gyro tray above the front servos? i had this problem but really bad with the align servos - tried the gyro isolation plates but made no difference.
had to move the gyro back onto the boom block.

I do have it mounted right up front. I don't really want to move it back because of the amount of exhaust residue in that area so I will try the plate first. Also am going to check where I ran my wires. I think that I ran the Gyro and servo wires together. This will give me something to do at work tomorrow. LOL Thanks Again.
