Hmm..I thought the 245 was lighter than the 3060. I read 11g for the 245 and 12.9 for the 3060. Am I missing something? |

2 x 3060 new fail.. one on second fly and one out of the box. sigh!! 180 need keep less than 200gr .. he fly really well at 5500 and 6000.. each gram over that reduce performance.. my 2 cents.

hello Luca,
I have the belt system and it is awesome. Not really try because bad weather and no time...just a try in my office and no vibrations, no tail wag....tail perfect.... It will be very, very good to make the same for the stretched version. It needs jsut a belt and a tailboom .......

I've been flying with this now since release and although weather in the UK has been poor here too, I've managed to squeeze around 30 flights, The belted tail performs brilliantly. My only adjustment was to bump the ESC startup power to 100%. It still does its direction check, but is able to determine rotation direction on the first attempt. This might be something to do with my build and not necesserily needed by everyone.
As you say, all those last little niggling vibes are now completely gone. I have the new Lynx 1611 motor on the way so will be intresting to see not only the performance, but how the 3 bearing arrangement banishes the last source of high frequency, spiky vibration, notably the standard motor as it starts to wear. Should be ready for the stretch and the new frame by then

I have mine and can't wait to get it on. I'm deciding how I'm going to do it for my Lynx 180 Goblin.
I know I can do it, I am working on the best end result for look before I do any work. |

Is there still a "stretch" belt tail assembly in the works? Maybe released this month? Thinking the new motor and "stretch" belt tail will be an awesome combination.
Luca, thank you so much for the continued support in making so many terrific upgrades and improvements for the RC helicopter community! Steve

For those that want to make use of their existing tail components and want a belt too, I notice that the sport version is now available.

very nice alternative .
a question about the PDF file... ...where it shows the breakdown for the front tail case and rear tail box, the file shows assembly stating that it is with either the STD or the Lynx, but in parenthesis for both it says "it isn't supported" for the front, and "its not supported" for the rear? what is the PDF file referring to as "isn't" and "not" supported in these two areas? thanks!

The wording in the PDF file is a bit confusing using the word "supported"... Thanks for clarifying.

Any news on the possibility of a complete "stretch" belt tail kit? Or possibly a "stretch Sport Belt Conversion". With stretch sport belt conversion, it seems the only part missing from the equation is the longer belt. Just wondered if this was still being considered or now completely of the design table.
Thank you for any comments! Steve

I've got several of the Sport Belt Conversions...and just got the first Pro Belt Conversion...and discovered an issue while installing the tail pushrod guide...
Not used to this lack of quality from Lynx...I guess My conversion will run without it |
