Default What the _ _ _ _, Gens Ace big price increase?

So a buddy and I have been eyeing the hobbypartz website for gens ace availability, and notice a big increase in price per battery. Obviously there is a huge demand for the batteries, because they are often out of stock. But why such a huge jump in price. Small price hikes go almost unnoticed. People love Gens ace for their quality, and great price. But at this rate, they will soon be priced up there with TP.

+1 Getting expensive, been loyal to gens ace... Just ordered 4 6S 3800mah Thors for my Logo 600SE from RH. Heard good things about them.

It's funny how we are still saving 41% even after the 20% price jump...

Maybe the price is just temporary to cover the cost of the iPad they are giving away.

I personally think gens aces lowers their prices when trying to do a manufacturing run... Then raise them till they are out of enough sizes and lower prices till they have their min amount needed for a production run

That would not be Gens Ace, but rather Hobby Parts clearing out inventory in anticipation of new stock.

Gens Ace is its own company, but I think HobbyPartz got exclusive U.S. distribution.

Yep
I just went there last weekend to place an order ,
They lost a sale to me with their silly little price games. They won't get any of my business again until they get their prices back inline
If it takes them too long I will just go somewhere else ,

Boycot gens ace till their prices go back. The prices are the only reason i bought their batterys. Descent packs at a good price. Now they are descent packs that are way overpriced.

Sent from tapatalk. spelling will probably be worse than usual

i think that will happen no matter what,

if i say gens ace anyone who flys and uses lipos says " ohh those are good and cheap"

that is what they are known for, so if they are not cheap anymore

people wont buy them, hell at some of these prices i will just buy hyperion

i know i can beat on them over and over.

come on gens ace, dont end a good thing

As someone else pointed out, if you can't afford the Gens Ace anymore you can always buy Sky lipos.
