500e budget servos

One of my original ds510's has started sticking every now and again, I guess its on the way out. What is my best option for a cheap replacement?

The cheapest option would be to buy another 510 and replace the one. If you buy a set, it will be expensive. Did you take it apart to see why it is sticking?

Thats it. Alternatively a ds520 will also do the job if you exchange the gears as its essentialy the same servo with different gearing.

Took the servo apart, replaced the gears, don't see anything else wrong but it stuck on initialization twice after changing the gears. As soon as I touched the servo arm it worked fine and has been fine since, but I've not flown on it.

I don't see any 510's for sale anymore here, just 515m's. So was looking for options. If I can just replace the 1 then great, otherwise the cheapest option for all 3.

I would post an add when you need one 510 - they're 1000's of them out there - sure some local heli bro will come to your rescue....

And yes now its mostly sets of 3's 515's usually go for about $80 out of someones backup heli or parts.....
