Well you did flip it once!!! Nice Jamin, really nice.

Impressive how the down flow pushes the dirt!!! And I know it flies differently on 800s, but it looks much nicer with the bigger disk.

Congrats, and really envious you already flew an XXtreme!!!

What's a 700? Haha. Not to threadjack but isn't the 600se basically a 700 in mikados sizing range? Now back the xxtreme heli porn.

6'7"!!! You'll make that Logo look like a 600!

Pretty cool knowing you have the first one in Aus! I think I got the first Compass 7hv in Aus (got in on the first batch sent from Nankin hobbies), but I didn't have regular internet contact as I was working on a cattle station in the N.T at the time so who knows?

I have not ordered one yet as I wanted to see one in the flesh and then see how people get on with the new size.

As for all the questions of how they compare to ...(enter 700 size Heli here)....... To put it simply, they don't. I know I only had a brief hover but when you actually fly one yourself you realise that all the time you been flying 700's thinking they are the daddy, in 1:30 that has all changed. I will now fly my 700's like they are 600's. That is the difference. That little Climbout was only a little blip on the throttle, I can't imagine what this is gonna be like once you give it beans.

If I see any threads trying to justify not getting an xxtreme or the ....(enter 700 size Heli here).... Is enough for me etc etc I will pmsl tbh!
The xxtreme is the daddy so no point trying to convince yourself otherwise.

Now, who wants a FAIFA or E7 so I can get my xxtreme

@ shein95,

Your question, "Not to threadjack but isn't the 600se basically a 700 in mikados sizing range?"

A: Yes and no. It is true that the Logo 600SE can swing 693's, officially making it a "700 class" model, but there are limitations on the model while doing so. It is more-or-less a "700 lite"

Because the head and tail of the Logo 600SE are essentially "600 class" components, Mikado has wisely placed a head speed limit on the model, which is 1800. Many push that to 1900 and get away with it, but over that, you need to use aftermarket heads and tails to keep from having issues.

2000+ head speeds are common anymore with dedicated "700 class" models these days, and so there is currently a hole Mikado's line-up of models. They have the best true 600 class heli around (standard Logo 600), and now the best 800 class heli on the market, but a "true 700" with no limitations like they have on the Logo 600SE, is still missing.

But that's gonna change (-:

I've been saving up for a t700 but I've been checking out all the logo models and the quality looks so much better so without a doubt my next bird will be a mikado. Xxtreme is sweet but I love the molded frames of the 500/600 series. The 700 will prob be on the market by time I save up though. So much help out here too on the mikado side with Mr Mel and dahld, someone with real world answers not just stating the company line.

My mrs has often said to me I love my heli's more than her, to which I have always replied "don't be silly"

I just hope she don't say it now!!!

The molded frames and low parts count are the main reasons I bought a Logo 500. The quality is very high and the frames are cheap to replace in a crash. You won't be disappointed.

As much as that was a good thing for me with the other Logo's, having plastic frames I hope the 700 does not and follows the XXtremes example.

I think they onto a winner with the xxtreme but Im more interested in seeing parts prices now and a kit only price as I would prefer to have the Pyro 800 and Kosmic.

I like the "plastic" frames too but I think on a 700 it would make the disc loading way too light.
