Default Double Horse 9053

Just ordered one online from a place in California. Got a good price on RTF.
However...
I've been reading its blade clearance from both is a little close. I was reading a review that the lower bracket can be flipped so it give better clearance between them. Problem is not a peep about how to do it.
Any one here own one and what mods did you make to make it a better machine?
And finally, are any mods really needed?

I just ordered one yesterday. As to the Mods, look on Utube, there are several good videos on making the various modifications to get this model to fly well. They explain the procedures pretty well.

I'll try to get you the links, however will have to do that later tonight, gotta get to work.

Good Luck

She came in UPS a couple of hours ago. As soon as the LED on the charger goes solid, I'm going flying.

The bird is wired to the foam so having a small pair of wire cutters handy will make it easier to unpack.

Got out late from work. Went out back and no sooner got it off the ground the wind started howling and 30 seconds later the bottom fell out of the sky.

Figures...

Old thread I know...
However I was doing some clean and lube on this bird several weeks ago and during a run up the feathering shaft was flung out. I looked and looked and looked. No joy.
I put her back in the box and up on the shelf.

Today my new housemouse was vacuuming the carpet and spotted something shiney in the carpet over by my recliner. I happened to be home and she handed it to me not knowing what it was. The little lost feathering shaft. So now off the shelf, out of the box and qued to be put back together later today.

It was a good day after all.
