Default Where are the parts????

And yes, I know X4 parts for head and tail. I'm talking about the NX4-specific parts, like clutches, fans, bells, tanks, etc... When can we expect to see them?

And does Bobby Watts have a HF account? He'd be great to help out during this new model's launch!

Stuffed mine today... Was doing some nice 4pt tic tocs and my oily thumb rolled right off the damn stick... Too low to the ground to save it. Need blades, main and feathering shafts, some bearings, and skids/pipes. I'll know more once I tear into it tomorrow.

WHERE ARE THE FRIGGIN PARTS FOR THIS MACHINE???? This is ridiculous!

They will arrive this week. All parts you need minus main shaft and bottom drive gear are the same as GAUI X4.

Except that the part numbers don't match the NX4 manual, and some parts have multiple revisions... Oh well, I'll start hunting them down. Hopefully the nitro-specific stuff is ok.

I got the lower drive gear for the X4 to realize it is not quite the same. However making it work is quite easy. Cut out the middle it's around the size is a quarter. It does not have to be perfect just big enough of a hole so it slides over the main gear mount. The nice thing is the gear is centered using the outer ring so a less then perfect hole is fine. Next mount the gear on its mount and drill 3 pilot holes ( using a smaller drill bit) using the existing holes. Unmount the gear and now drill it for the screws to go through.

Put the gear back on, put the screws in and good to go.

JC, are there any other main shafts that will work with the NX4? I've found everything else I need except for this. Thanks,

Carlos.

X4 Main shafts are a touch longer. You can make them work. But Parts should be shipping from TW this week.

Ok, I will wait for the main shaft. What about the feathering shaft JC? There are two listed at Empire for the X4 kit:

G-213204

or

G-204672 (X4 FES Only)

Thanks again

Carlos.

Ok, I'll get that as well. JC, since you're part of Empire Hobby, do you know why their shipping is so expensive? I added 3 small parts to an order and they add up to less than half a pound and are tiny (main shafts, spindle shafts, and CNC tail boom support). They easily fit in a USPS flat rate box costing no more than $6, but Empire wants $16.70 for shipping alone!!!

Shipping from Infinity Hobby is $25 to Florida via UPS Express. Anyone know how long that would take?

I think my last order from Infinity took 5 or 6 days. Any price savings is indeed lost on the shipping cost. I have ordered from them several times with good results. I'm not even sure what country they are in. I use PayPal.

Unfortunately for me, patience is definitely not one of my virtues... but wait I must for these dang things to make it to US dealers.

Bumping this thread... its now the end of the week and the parts are not yet listed. What is the ETA please? My NX4 looks ridiculous with these Align skids! I just finished the last bits of repair on it and haven't flown it yet, so I don't know if the main and feathering are perfect or if I'll need anything else. WE NEED PARTS PRETTY PLEASE!!!!

It is getting aggravating that parts are still not available.

I had to put on T-Rex 500 skids and boom braces (which aren’t bad) but hate the look of the whimpy skids. Thankfully flying-hobby did have parts I needed after my crash and I was able to modify the lower drive gear from the X4 to make it work. Please get parts out so I can really start to figure out the limits of my flying
