The Gaui X2 clone blades are my favorite blades for the 300X, as well. If I remember correctly I'm the one that got DoubleCH hooked on them.

I've got some 255mm blades from HobbyEase on order that I'm curious about, but I have no idea how thick the chord is on them. It says 255*28*4mm, but I'm not sure if the 4mm is the root or the leading edge; I'm going to assume the root. I'll let everyone know if they're any good. But currently, the Gaui X2 blades are my favorite. They have a 3mm thick chord at the leading edge instead of 4mm like the Lynx plastics or Blade CFs, they don't flex as much as the Lynx plastics (night and day difference when you flex them), and they're cheap. My first batch from AliExpress took 3-4 weeks to arrive. My second batch arrived first class air mail and only took 10 days.

Yeah, credit goes to you. Way earlier I've always tempted to get the original Gaui X2 blades to try based on the specs I've read. At one point they were on sale for $28 and I almost got them. Hesitated a bit and they went up regular price and that was it.

I also think 4mm is the root. Can't wait to read your finding.

I do think X2-spec blades are well-suited for the 300X with motor no more powerful than the Lynx (~400W). Any more powerful they'll still work but IMO not optimal. OTOH, those with Lynx or lower powered motor who will try these blades on and then switch back to Lynx plastics or stock-spec blades will most likely find themselves getting these X2-spec blades back on quick.

Default Gaui X2 blades and other cf blades...

I just flew the X2-spec blades today for the first time. Have to agree these are nice blades for the 300x. Flew better than my lynx plastic and longer flight times. Great find!

Tried to order some today and received the following message.

We are sorry, but due to legal restrictions, AliExpress is unable to provide escrow services to residents located in Washington State

I tried again and didn't find a PayPal option. Did you send them to your Washington mail drop?

Just checked my paypal history and couldn't find any record. I must've paid by credit card directly.

Yup, no paypal option...

I did an order for 3 pairs now, I got a set of genuine X2 blades and I like them! Not three times nicer than Lynx plastics but nice...

$9 is ok as "beater blades", $29 is $3 more than getting 360 blades for my Dominator...
