is this a new heli or did the prob just start. Looks like the gain is to high.

I just got it Friday from a member on RR. I am just doing all my preflight getting ready for the first flight...... and this is my most recent problem.

I second gain too high. That is IF your tail rod and linkages are all not binding somewhere. If they are all smooth and free then "gain too high".

My linkages are all smooth no binding from the servo or the tail slider..... I guess I just have to play with the gain until it stops. Anyone know the best way for that. just turn down the gain values on the radio a few numbers at a time?

I don't think it is gain. I think it looks like the tennis racket effect. Look at finless video regarding the 500. They use a longer bolt through the tail blade with an extra nut on it and it seems to fix it.

could be the drive belt slipping had that on hbk2 and it did exactly the same as your 500

What gyro and servo is this? What gain are you running? How are you setting the gain? Which hole are you using on the servo arm and how many MM is from the center? What radio?

have u lifted it off the grd? it is hard to tell on the grd.

if it still does that in the air, drop the gain 1 to 2 % at a time

that's all provided that your tail is all centered and setup properly in the first place
