Default Century Bell 47G - Flybarless

Hi guys,
Has anyone tried a flybarless Bell 47G. Would like to know how it flies compared to one with a flybar.
Do one need high speed servos for a flybarless scale for stability, i.e. 0.6 / 0.5 ms

Thanks in advance

You need servos that can at least handle the output frequency of the FBL controller you use.

Default bell 47g flybarless

the bell 47 full scale is not a flybarless heli. it has a bell mixing system on it with weights at the end of the flybar. for scale purposes it should be flybared. try a shorter flybar and small massy paddles. that is what i use on my bell47g .( you can see 9it in my gallery on runryder. As far as flybarless ,it will fly just fine with a good flybarless unit and proper digtal servos. just won't be scale.

Just a note on FBL - The forces on the collective and cyclic servos in an FBL configuration are more then twice that of a decent FB system. So if you go FBL (and yes it will fly well with an FBL system), be sure to use more powerful servos then you would use with the FB system.

I found that even good low cost digital servos like the Hi Tech 5645 will be fine for a scale 50 sized Bell 4& in an FBL configuration.
