CellPro XP Bad Cell Count node
Hello,
I get this message when trying to charge Hyperion or Robbe batteries (they use the CH2 of the charger). Batteries with CH1 connectors work OK. I also used the same batteries and adapters with my Cell 10S which works perfectly. Should I send the unit out for repair? The issue is that I got the unit out of HK, and the shipment cost back to there would be very high. Could I try something before? Any kind of inspection? Thanks for any piece of advice I could get Luigi |

We need to know the wiring mode and how you have the packs connected. Easiest method is to post a couple pictures.

I enclose some pictures.
The message is Ch2 Bad Node Wiring FMA. Unfortunately the message is not readable from the attached pics. Contrary to what I wrote before, also in the second image (where the battery is a 3S like the previous one, but with a connector hooked to Ch1) I get the some message. Only with a 6S battery - last picture - connected to Ch1 I don't get the message and the unit starts its job. I don't have all the batteries to try other configurations. Banana pins are connected. As stated, with my Cellpro 10S I don't have any problems with the same boards and batteries. thanks in advance for your advice |

If you are positive the error is bad cell count FMA wiring and not bad cell count JST wiring, then I'd contact Revolectrix support to continue troubleshooting and if needed, setup a repair. They have repair facilities in Singapore and the US.
