Default Ncpx brushless conversion problem

i have 2 oversky xp -7a plug n play by oversky

downloaded the latest BLHeli 11.2.0.7 , flashed the esc with changes in variables as advised

"Flash the ESC with 11.2 Main code, set both gains to 2.00, everything else default, run flat throttle curves 75% or higher ."

But no luck , as i raise the throttle , tail rotor moves but at 1/4th stick movement blue light on board goes off , servos jerk up a little and then turn on after 2-3sec but no motor movement or beep sound either. what yo do next , kindly advise

waiting anxiously for ur reply

Where are you taking the signal for the ESC from on the 3-n-1?

I think that may be part of your problem. I have always taken the signal from the leg of the main motor FET on the front of the 3-n-1 or from the resistor taps on the rear of the 3-n-1. If you take the signal from the front of the board, you need to change the input polarity to negative in the BLHeli software.

Default Ncpx main motor port not working - brushless motor not working too - rest all good

thank u for the reply ,
1. i have tried to change the polarity to negative but still no brushless motor response .

2.then as u wanted me to check if the stock motor runs , i did , i does nt , the 2 pin motor port neither runs main nor tail motor when plugged in it.

3.its a brand new board tested before doing the mod .

4.i have removed the yellow wire also and also the whole xp-3a wiring nd ESC itself from the 3-in-1, still no luck .

5.the servos and tail motor port works , main motor port does nt work . what to do . attaching pics , kindly have a look.

Thank u

What is connected to the right hand side of the ESC in the second picture down?

Unless you damaged something soldering the signal wire to the leg of the FET, the signal location you used should have worked once you reversed the input polarity. I guess you could try picking up the signal from the back of the board and see if that works but that may be a bit more challenging to solder.
