Default GT 5.0 Spektrum Satellite question

Completely new to this so forgive my ignorance in advance. Furion 450 I picked up from a guy at our field has a GT 5.0 system on it. I didn't have any DSM2 satellites, so he helped me set it up with a 6 channel Spektrum receiver last weekend. Everything worked fine after he got it all set up. I picked some DSM2 satellites up yesterday. I took the receiver out, installed the satellites, rewired the GT 5.0, bound my radio to the satellites etc. Radio controls the servos fine, but when I plug the esc back to the motor and plug the battery in the motor engages like it has throttle going to it. If I hit throttle hold on the radio it stops. I have tried rebinding make sure the throttle was all the way down, made sure the throttle was all the way down when I plugged the battery in etc. Somewhat at a loss why this would be happening when all I did was swap the full receiver out for two satellites.

Thanks in advance!

were you running the throttle from a slot on the reciever?, and now it's plugged into the throttle channel in the gt5? Not sure, as I haven't used throttle output from GT5 in a long time (I just plug into reciever), but I think it reverses that channel , so going from one way to the other you'd have to reverse throttle in the tx.

Well I fixed it, but the wrong way. I accidentally double tapped the reset selection and took the setup that was on it out. I rebound the radio and the throttle works. Of course all the other settings are wrong now.
