Default ESC larger than Motor specs. Problem?

Hello all. I'm currently building a Corsair foamie.( 35" wing span) The guy at the LHS sold me a CC Thunderbird 36 ESC. The EFlite Park 400 motor I got says to use a 10 to 25 A ESC. Will I be ok with the ESC being a higher amp rating than what the motor calls for? Thanks in advance.

I don't think you will have any trouble with an oversized esc. If anything it will run cooler.

If the esc is too much heavier than a stock, it may be a concern. Other than that you should be just fine.

It's fine. The motor will only draw the amps it needs. You can't push more amps into the motor, it doesn't work that way.
