OMG get a grip. Pinecone do you feel that insecure about your DX7 or whatever it is you fly that you need to bash every Futaba post? And I would agree Rexman might have come off as a troll if he posted this anywhere other than the Futaba forum.
Why would you slap someone right in the face that was so happy about a recent purchase? I can only assume his comment about working better than a JR was due to programming. To my knowledge neither system has a link problem.

Question:

Isnīt it irresponsible to continue selling these damaged radios despite Futaba/Dealers/Stores are aware of this issue?. Havenīt Great Planes or Futaba tested the radios before sending them to the stores?. Is my perception wrong?

My 7C FASST is on it's way, I think tomorrow I will receive it and I am realy worry about this issue.

Is there any way to test it by myself?.

Thanks

JC

Doug

You are right, I just received my radio set, it has the 080101448 serial number. Excelent news. So I do not have nothing to worry about. I hope so.

So I hope that the > 5 seconds on-off switching thing does not affect mines too.

Thanks again.

JC

Why would you even want to switch it OFF and ON in that time span? You turn your PC off and on in that time span?

Hi David

He he, You are right, unless I am kind of insane guy or out of my common sense I would do this, but I asked this just because of the ZGUID paranoia and just wanted to make sure that I am out of any bug or I wont have any problem in the future, some forums state that if you turn your radio on and off very quick you will get for free an expensive and useless 7C 2.4 ZGUID TX set.

Thanks,

JC

David

I think it is a very common thing for people to flick their Tx on to check voltage before going to the field. You see the voltage, think "OK", then turn off.
Or some five year old tries all the buttons.
Or your friend who hasnt read the manual does it.

I managed to do it myself to my 6EX. It's in for service now.
