Futaba 14SG and throttle hold on nitro?

Hi!

When setting up the throttle hold on my Trex 700N I have some problems getting the trimtab for idle to work while the throttle hold is activated?

On my old 7C I could adjust the idle from my Tx regardless of throttle hold was actve or not..

Anybody can help me? Please ask if you didn't understand the problem

You would think that in hold it is a case of holding the throttle at a fixed position and not allowing it to change.

It could be argued that the fact you could change it in the 7C is a bug in that radio.

If your throttle hold is too low to allow the engine to idle reliably then you can set it to a higher value.

I just got a 14sg and noticed the same thing, it locks you out of all trims for the throttle when throttle hold it turned on.
My 10c did not do this..

I am still going with hold is hold. If you can alter the throttle in anyway whilst hold is activated then it is not technically holding the throttle.

I never had this problem with my 14SG and neither does a fellow flyer who is also using the 14SG.

I fly electric not nitro but to adjust the throttle output when throttle hold is on you set the end points under the linkage menu. Hope this helps.

There is no trim in Hold mode. Trim is for normal mode idle. Just go to the hold menu and adjust where needed.
