Default speed controller question, himax, phoenix

hi all, i have a question... I'm using a phoenix -25 speed controller with my 2025-4200 himax brushless, I've seen combo deals of the himax 2025 being sold with the phoenix - 35. which one is correct?

The -25 is adequate for the 2025-4200. It's the one I use. Many are using th -35 because it is claimed that there is less tail wag using this controller. I don't know abut that.

I used to use the 25 with that motor and had no problems. Recently I switched to the 35, and had lots of problems with interference that I never had with the 25, it's a common problem in the forums.

Unless you have changed the servo position and tail gearboxes then wag caused by esc is the least of your worries.

The 25 is perfect for the shogun...the 35 is overkill
