Default new 700 697 kit in stock (out of stock now)

Up here in Canada there's at least one 697 kit in stock.

loose 10% with coupon code gobbler

https://www.rotorquest.com/index.php...duct_id=108674

None of the 717's left though , as my finger twitched causing my mouse to buy the last one

That's my story and I'm sticking to it

My Logo700-717 shipped out of RotorQuest on Friday!

For anyone that hasn't been able to buy a set of 697 VTX blades yet, they have ONE set left at RotorQuest! ( I bought the second last set yesterday for my Logo690, and to try on the 700 to see which feel I prefer ) You're welcome!

I know the feeling.

I'm on the hunt for a motor myself , but kit ,neo , and some fpv stuff does lighten the wallet. LOL

Normally the hot new stuff is excluded , but this time they let Mikado go thru this time.
I was planning on a winter build but jumped in early.

Which motor did you go for ?

I've got a scorpion 4530-450 (14s) I can pull from my 700XX.

Ps - don't forget your pinion - not included with kit.

Nice..

Scored a motor this morning from the classifieds.

Now I need to find the 55mm XL 6mm shaft for it

I wonder if 50mm would work ?

Would that fit a 4530 - 450 ? (14s 4400 setup)

If I remember my motors right isn't that the height ?

Martin

Aha! This one will not, but you can get them direct from Scorpion:

I've been running 14s 4400 on my logo 700XX for quite some time.
Plenty of extra power on tap.

Makes up for a less than perfect collective management , which I'm working on.

Less amps , also means less heat in the lipos, and longer life of the lipos.

I'd go with the 12a setup the new 700 recommends but I've got 4 14s packs in great shape. There the old school (readyheli) thor packs I put into service june 2014. Between the 3 packs I have about 300 flights on them. Just recently added a TP pack a few months ago.

Nice, I have 2 sets of Thor 3700 12s packs I'm selling because I sold my 600 to help with the new Logo purchase. Good packs for sure!

Too bad I can't find a shaft for my HKIII 4035 530kv. Would be nice to try that motor out for a little less weight. On the Scorpion site the max length available is 110mm overall length (equates to 48mm).

Edit: Looks like the 4235 shaft may work but it's only around 2mm longer (50mm).

I've got a mail from kontronik, they will bring a 750-50L2 in both normal and competition versions. They will also sell shafts for their 750 range motors which fit on the L700 .... waiting to see...here
