Default Anybody else got an AirHogs Osprey tilt wing ...?

This is a Toys R Us exclusive model I picked up back in January for half price. It has a tilt wing that lets you transition from plane to heli with the 2 position right stick.

I have been modding mine quite heavily. So far I've got it to have a removable canopy so I can change the battery. I'm using E-flite and Tenergy Lipos for the 120SR. Put a JST connector in series with the original LVC board.

Currently I'm trying to fly this model with a keychain camera to capture some YouTube worthy "bittage" ("footage" no longer seems appropriate!)

I'm curious if anybody else is having this same problem ... for no apparent reason the throttles will suddenly cut out, and the model plummets. When the model is recovered, the flashing light underneath (and hence all the on-board electronics) may or may not have cut out. This is the case when the Lipo and radio batteries are all good. Generally speaking, if the electronics do not cut out, there is not much time to save it when throttle control is regained. Good job the plane is tough!

I think this is either a) radio range issue, or b) LVC problem.
