Default Kong Power - Charge 2 3S as 1 6S with this?

Guys,

I tried the KP charger and charging 2 x 3S packs as 1 6S... as per their instructions. I may have made a small error, and ended up blowing one of the pins out of the battery bridge. Got a fright, but all seems OK...

So, I decided, to hell with that! I'll just charge normally... 1 at a time.

Then, I just found this!

Would this not be more suitable?? Just plug your Deans's into the serial cable that you use when flying.. then attached this to your packs balance plugs.... plug in... and you're away? Seems a LOT simpler, and safer....

This is not compatible with the Kong Power balance taps or ports. This is the JST-XH (Align) connector. The Kong Power uses the Thunder Power connectors.

You could use this, works like a charm on my KPs. Dial in the same pack capacity on the charger, and change 3S to 6S

It is crucial that you connect the "positive pack" to the balance connector containing the red wire

I have Y leads for both charging power and the balance taps and I labeled each connector with either an 'A' or a 'B' such that the 'A' leads go into one pack and the 'B' leads go into the other. I haven't fried a single balance connector since.
