Are you supposed to put a washer on the screws for the tailboom where it screws to the frame?

Will this fuselage fit the F3C?? Can it be modified to fit it? I just ordered the speed fuselage in haste and did not think to check if will fit my 700E F3C helo...

I think this thread is dead!
I've not heard of that 700 f3c... it can't be all that different to a standard dfc model?

Is your F3c a v2? if so, you'll have to watch that youtube video on how to install this fuse on a v2 frame..

At half the price of the align one I'm just thinking if it's worth it or is it junk and a waste of money

Could you not get the Speed 700 Seconds as Align calls it? I bought one of their 'Seconds' and really, there's no real difference. Mine came with some tiny patches of smudges to the paint but that's it. It was £125 instead of £159 (I think - I can't remember now)

How much will delivery be for this Microheli version to you? If it's considerably cheap.. like half price.. then I would try it.

What I would like is a blank fuse so I could ask someone to paint it Angry Birds style!

Just viewed the YouTube video and it did not say anything about installing on a F3C. I have a V2, and I'd rather pay $200 for this fueslage instead of over $700 for a Blackshark III.

To be honest I only did a quick google for yours and it said V2 and the frame had the white strip similar to my friend's V2 so I assume it's the same..
You can email Jeff fassbinder and he will tell you
if he's not on this forum, he should be on rcgroups

Just found out that the screwholes on the fuselage WILL NOT line up with the tail boom holder on a F3C V2!! The fuselage body fits, but the tail will need mods. V2's also dont have an aluminum spacer at the bottom rear of the helo frame like the DFC's do (can't screw the bottom fuselage screws in no way no how!) Anyone out there correct me if I'm wrong!

OK, I finally found the videos. Yes, mods are required, but a speed fuselage CAN be attached to a V2 frame, thank goodness!!!!!!

You don't need a washer on the four top holes as you use the button head screws that should already be there. The bottom two holes require washers and you can use them from the tail boom struts.
