Wow, it worked great.

Flies a lot more like my 450 with the 3GX now.

Setup is much more straight forward. I did DIR setup, then went through flight mode and set the travel adjust. Nothing else.

I did see one of the Align guys commenting on the V2.0 thread in the 3GX section that people were over-thinking it... so I did what he recommended, set up DIR, set up tail, do flight mode travel adjust and go fly.

12 deg pitch, 8 deg for elev and aile.

I set up the tail in rate mode at a low (for me) headspeed of 3500 and the tail was rock solid with a DS420 tail servo running at 6.0V.

I did have a little more trouble getting the gain set properly with my DS95i, it's still not as solid as the 420 was with a pretty much stock setup. I have some slow wag with the 95i, it may just be low gain, it may be the tail blades...

I want to try different tail blades with the 95i though, I was trying a spare pair of 40mm CF blades because that's what I had... I prefer the 42mm square cut ones that were on my DS420 250. I might just swap tail blades and see if it's any different.
