That is third pre-order batch, there was 2 previous pre-order batches (Oct.18-19, Oct.21-22).

I ordered in the "Oct 18-19th" batch, no word yesterday, hope I will get shipping notice today which is 19th.

Same here (no word about delay), on Monday was my order in state "ready for shipping", "invoice printed" and then "pre-order". I tried to contact esprit if there will be delay and received reply that units will arrive to shop on Thursday. No word about delay, then i am not sure if their wrote about first or second batch.

I contacted Esprit and the package with units from first batch have delay and is on delivery to esprit today.

Update: finally SHIPPED

It is not like the AC-3X in that regard. Mine was flying like something on 400 agility in V-bar on the first outing, so it can be set pretty crazy.

Whaaat 400, you mean like 5 rolls per/second or you refering to the vbar settings of old.max is now 120.

But please postsettings would help to get a starting point, on the issue of tail can the piro compensation (level piros in ff) be checked on bench? i see they mention in the manual you check when you fly

On the bench, tilt your heli, move the tail and the swash should keep its heading, thats how to check piro comp

• Tail D-DB: 5
• Tail Symmetric: 0
• Tail Stick Dyn: 36
• DMA Cyclic: -20
• DMA Pitch: -80
• Smooth Stop: 0

Swash Plate Menu:

• Pitch Mix: 98
• Ail Mix: 70
• Ele Mix: 70

Stick Menu:

• Expo Tail: 20
• Expo Swash: 20
• Rest is set at default

I have about 25% expo in the radio too, but I find that contrary to V-bar, the GT5 internal expo smoothes everything out quite nicely and doesn't necessarily double-dip on the expo.

You should be able to use the Imp1 or Imp2 ports. Not a Spektrum guy myself though...

For collective and cyclic, how many degrees did you set it?

I am at 14.5º on collective and I think I set 10 or so on cyclic. Cyclic I usually just adjust so it feels right...

I'm curious.... Should I use the GT5 in place of my Full size blue line Vbar in the TDR? OR, just keep the GT5 for use in my shape 9.0 (which BTW is frustrating the heck outta me.... ARGH! <pirate face> hehe)?????


Or, should just buy another GT5.... one in my TDR, and one in my Shape?????

At $180, it's a freaking steal... At least I think so.... The BeastX is a few $$$$ more.....

Don't know the Shape, but I do know that the GT5 works really well in a TDR.
