Mounting the fbl unit on a 50
Where do people mount them? I have mine on the front tray but seems pretty flexible.

I was going to mount it there but I bought the metal pitch tray and it is shorter that the stock plastic one. So I week try mounting it up front on top

On the Raptor 50, I have my FBL unit (Robird G31) mounted on the top of the plastic tray, just ahead of the large, plastic collective arm.
It was really nice to take an old, but very reliable machine and upgrade it to FBL.

Mine's on the gyro platform, behind the main shaft.
Doesn't seem to cause any issues with the AR7200BX and gives the opportunity to make adjustments without removing the canopy, which is a bonus!

I have the metal pitch arm as well, it is shorter and the fbl unit will set right in front of it no problems. it flies like an animal changed over to fbl I don't run any expo on any of my birds ither
