South Jersey Heli Group Fun Fly Sept 16-18

Hey, Heli and Quad pilots!

South Jersey Heli Group will be hosting a fun fly September 16,17,18 2016.

The event will be held on a 2000 foot private grass airstrip with an additional 500-foot airstrip overrun, totaling 11 flight stations with plenty of room for parking.

Brian Banks will be setting up a Quad racing track! Come out and give it a try!

At this beautiful field, the sun is at your back the entire day!! We will get started at 0800 on September 16th and go as late as people are willing to stay up to fly each night! We will have the lights on and the music cranking.

Amenities:
RV Camping (No hookups) park on the main flight line.
Primitive Camping
Onsite Food Concessions. Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner in the hanger. Breakfast on Sunday.

Fees:
Pilot Registration: $25 (For all Three Days, AMA Required))
RV and Camper Fee: $25 (Fee will be collected by us for the landowner)
Primitive camping is FREE.

We are donating all proceeds to the landowner for the museum! They are great hosts and provide us with a great place to fly all year.

How many pilots are you expecting this year? Thinking about making the trip, it would be our first time. Also where is best and closet place to stay.

I think all together so far there are 5 of us who are coming down from our field.

It's difficult to judge based on responses here and on the "other" forum. But comparing the last 2 years, turn out far exceeded the number of replies on the forums. Hope this makes your decision to make the trip easier.

I'm guessing we will have between 35-50 pilots. Which is great!

We will have a lot of large "big box" flight stations. This is a flyers fun fly! Come out and have a good time. Enjoy food and fly your heart out.

What a great event. Thank you guys at South Jersey Heli Group and to the Allens for putting on a great event this year. We're all looking forward to next years event. All together 6 of us from Rotor Hedz made it down. Thanks again.
And the fly-by of that little plane was fantastic, definitely added to the fun.
