Good points on the syma co-axial. After flying a handful of times I've just stopped and left them to the kids. Am trying to not skew my start with CP via a K110 this coming Tuesday.
I was also getting tired of a whisper of airflow throwing it off and into furniture. |

I had a couple hours in the SIM before using the syma 107, so there was a wtf moment when i started using it .
I took off the rear boom supports, the light&weight in the front. tried to re position the battery back a tiny bit and i get about 8-9 minutes per charge (hardcore 2d action ) it does move forward slightly all the time. On my CP buying : hope to get the 110 soon, got a dx7s radio, reviever, lipo battery charger and just need a 450 size heli and i should be content for awhile |

If you're thinking about a 450 to go with your k110, the new Trex 470LP (or LM) seem to be flying off the shelves. The complete bundles are great deals. You can't hardly get a used 450 BNF for that.

It's been on the market longer so i can find something used for cheaper and they have great reviews for being more durable and easy to work on. |

The X3 is a great option and they do come up for sale used quite often.

Got the gears and batteries today even though the tracking was all out of sorts. We'll hope yours shows up by surprise soon. |

I did have one order from Banggood (out of a dozen+) that took more than a month. Every now and then there is a hiccup, but most of the time they get here pretty quickly. I find it's also worth paying the extra $1 or so for faster shipping on small parts, where that is an option.

I did get my universal tx connector kit yesterday also from... ordered..
Moving from the xbox controller to the dx7s is quite an improvement. Theres no fighting ghost inputs, set d/r to 125% expos -40% was kind of similar to the xbox controller at 75%dr and +25%expo. Because i dont have to fight it it was still easier to use at those higher rates. I think all the constant input required to use the xbox controller really helped to build good muscle memory quickly |

Great to hear. The Xbox setup was trying at best.
For me real life k110 is easier than sim so far, but heli-x hover training helps. ...and for fun my extra landing gear came bent at 90 degrees... lol. Everything else seems ok at least. |

Finally
Arrived with some of the boxes being slightly water damaged but there appears to be no mechanical issues. Had to use a lot of right trim and some forward trim to get it stable to hover in my kitchen, now its time to make some adjustments on the TX as my tail movement was also reversed. |

Actually tail movement was fine, i was confused.
Windy outside...yadda yadda, landed in between branches by the tail end and pulled the boom out of its hole. I thought it was weird to have the wires stuffed back in on top of the boom. But i guess thats how its done. after putting it back and hovering inside every thing was fine so i proceeded to knock the tx off the table and smash a gimble through the housing The damage wasn't as bad is i was expecting and i made a part to replace the broken gimble bearing retainer, put the spring back on and its fine. One of the switches separated plastic body from metal pole switch and im not sure how it goes back together or i just need to buy a new switch? Also need to solder some wires back on if i want to use this in a sim. It was a couple hours of work but i flew it again and no difference in the TX from when i dropped it except its stuck in 6g mode. Not what i was expecting to spend my night doing |
