Very happy with the mild kit.
Great power for indoors.
I can only really see the wild kit being useful outside or in a gym type setting, but most people have bigger more capable outdoor helis anyway.

Mild setup here and I love my Nano even more now I find no need for a wild setup with bigger batteries. for the extra weight with the bigger packs I would just get a MCPX and use a high powered setup. The Nano flies perfect with the Mild setup with power to spare. Still light and has enough power just to do about anything for indoor and outdoor flights!

I did the wild setup over the weekend. I couldn't be happier. Next to no bog. Tons of power all the way through the flight. It reminds me of a tamer version of my double BL MCPx. Thanks to Dylan for making this a a success.

I put the MCPx tail boom on it and it's just a little too long. I got a tiny bit of tail wag, but I guess that just means the heli is happy. It's like it's flying on rails and it is ridiculously easy to put into a stable inverted hover. I'm flying tonight so hopefully I will be able to get a decent video of the little beast in action. I'm probably going to re-flash the ESC just because I don't like program through TX.

Best part is it will run on hyp 240 or MCPx batteries (and I got a bunch of those). I just squish MCPx skids on and use a little adapter I soldered up.

I also will be flying it indoors once I get just a little more dialed in with the bird. I'll probably switch back to a stock length boom and run the head speed just over stock for that though. The nice part about the wild is if you can flash the ESC you have a lot more options. Time to fly!

I love my mild... My only issue is its more twitchy than my second stock ncpx... If I could get my BL to be as stable as the stocker... I'd really be in heaven

Edit: I've tried bringing the headspeed down as low as 60% to reduce "twitchy-ness" with no luck.

I totally love my mild setup. I set it to Gov Arm, usually run at 68% for indoor.

Going to install the wild setup in my second heli on of these nights...

Still getting used to mild kit. Does everything I want for now. Install took 3 hours. In the back of my mind its great knowing I am not wearing out the main motor every time I fly.

I just fully tested my wild setup. First tried with stock e flite 150's just to test spool up and mild hover. I then threw on my mcpx lg with a pulse 300 for laughs. This thing is insane! Flew in IU for a solid two and a half minutes. No bogging, flips are super tight. I loved this thing before, but now it's twice the heli it was. Dylan is the man..

Firstly I must say that the Mild kit, at least for me, provides more then enough power! It's much more powerful than with the stock brushed motor.

Beware that the heli is a totally different beast with B/L and governor. So you need to learn to fly it all over again. No complaint! Just saying

With two different IU modes I can learn orientation on a low HS and do tight flips and rainbows on a high HS. Now at 70 and 80% on my DX6i. Tail hold is better with higher head speed!

I found that 50% expo on elevator and aileron made it much easier to control for me (both with high and low rate setting as per standard settings). 30% or less was no prob with stock brushed motor, but not with B/L for me!

I set zero pitch at mid stick, and have full 125% collective travel in both directions.

There's only one single thing I don't like about it: It's very noisy = not that great for in-house flying anymore Very strange that this tiny thing is so LOUD!

Is it louder then other BL motors or just louder then the stock motor? Any ideas on what's causing the noise?

Must have vibrations causing it to be louder. Mines sounds the same to me. Well it is louder if you mean by the faster headspeed

Mine is by far louder than it was stock. My heli has no vibrations either.

No idea! My B/L mCPx is much quieter... very strange indeed! So yes, it's louder than usual for a B/L motor. It's a screamer!

(have no vibs)

We could rev it up without the main gear to see if it's just the motor itself (as I suspect)...

It's the canopy causing the excess noise.

You mean it's more quiet without the canopy?

With the cut canopy pin mod it at least should not be much vibrations, as the mounts are flexible.

Tried different types of canopies?

I'll test with the "Party Factor" App on iPhone...
