Nano CPx pitch issue
I recently flew my nano outside, and it was awesome, but I crashed and I had a canopy post broke and some vibrations. So I decided to buy a new frame and a spindle, since I realized my spindle was bent. I figured changing the whole frame would be a nice way to learn a bit more about the heli.
Anyway, after I put the whole heli back together, and replaced the spindle, I realized I had major pitch issues. I have attached a picture and a video for a better idea of what is going on. Basically, I can't get it at 0 pitch, and I can't get positive pitch. I do have the Dx6i pitch settings on reverse, and I have tried to rebind it. Also the wires on my motor are bent because I was messing around with it quite a bit, so my motor isn't working in the video. I have a new motor on the way. But, when the motor was working, the heli would spool up but it wouldn't have enough pitch to get lift off. pic - pic is from iPhone with its full resolution, might have to click on it so it isn't stretched like crazy. video - just to show what pitch looks like with full throttle - also have throttle hold on. Thanks a lot in advance as always! |

I don't see any play in the main shaft. The pinions are attached to the motor pretty well, as seen here.

Based on that picture you posted there is excessive space between your swash plate and the bottom of the hub (aka too much main shaft revealed). Double check your hub mounting. Here is one of mine and this is how much shaft you should see....
If I had to guess I'd say you hub set screw is sitting on top of the main shaft instead of on the flat. |

Nano servos have 3 holes for push rods. Mine are all in the upper most hole.
I see you have aluminum head. You may have to adjust push rod lengths.
