After my big crash with the nx4 i am not impressed with the price its going to cost me to repair it

in total the price of repairs is £340 with the 20t upgrade as the stock one isnt in very good shape , but not to mention a new kit is £350

is this heli really worth another shot .. i just don't think its worth the value of the money

this heli have cost me more money than a bigger size 600 machine.

let me know on your thoughts guys

I haven't had a big crash, but I have had many smaller issues with my two and I went through a lot of parts in my (3rd) mule parts kit. Most of my issues have been blades, gears, TT, boom, tanks,linkage...
My plan will be to transition down to one NX4 which will be phased out eventually by my Goblin 500's which are almost the only heli's that I fly anymore.

I'm not good in word but if the cost near to the new kit price i will go with the new kit so if you still want this NX4 i would say go for the new kit and make the old once for spare part.
I'm also had major crash with my X4II but the cost to repair it half price.

all the best Gaza

I have never had so much fun out of a heli or fight time i think il buy all parts and get the upgrades .. and going to use my old frame cut it to shape and double up on the fuel tank area as its weak .. i was going to get rekit but i would much rather buy the upgraded parts and get this thing smacking again

the stock gearing is awesome for anyone type of flying but i want that extra pop and stop harder

also i am thinking about putting a msh brain on there as i dont really like the feel of beastx

I think I am going to order the frame stiffener because i KNOW i'm going to crash. It's a matter of time. Might as well be safe.

I made a post over in the Lynx forum requesting they produce a side frame:

https://www.helifreak.com/showthread...19#post5170419

If you find this interesting over paying $64 for a Gaui frame you should give feedback in that thread

Hey Buddy,

I hear ya...for a little heli it can get expensive. It is a fun little machine. I burned the clutch on my 700N and have to say the NX4 held its own...lost of fun.

So far mine is doing great with the change in the tail parts. However, I have to agree, if I pile it in I would have to consider not rebuilding and just moving along. Maybe a Goblin 500?

You can also use the spektrum one: http://www.horizonhobby.com/products/SPMA9569
You dont have to swap wires with this one.
