I have only just come across this item - I am a recent 500 owner. I notice that my 'shelf' for my receiver is pretty wobbly - does your product irradicate this? And, is the stability of the receiver as critical as for the gyro? thnx

PS. If I order one, will this be the furthest your product has travelled ha ha!

Most people have found it to be quite sturdy. I would say it is more critical for the gyro to be on a stable platform than the receiver. Most put the gyro on one side and the receiver on the other.

I've shipped most everywhere, Borneo would be up there!

Older thread, but new builder! In the process of building a 500e and have Rick's receiver/gyro shelf. Just want to understand that I can mount the gyro (780) on the top, and then the receiver on the opposite side below? Does anyone put both on the same side, with the gyro inboard and the receiver outboard.

Advantages/pitfalls of either/both?

Thanks,

Ken

I have one of these too. GP780 on the top and RX underneath. Very sturdy, and no issues, (vibe or otherwise) with the GP780 in this configuration.

Cheers - AC
