I have had couple of projects going on. More than a couple, actually. I'll try to give the voodoo more of my time and move it along. I have the ESC mounted and wired, and will post that next, then I will install and wire the HC3-SX FBL unit. Then the tail

I will be using HC-3sx as well in this heli but will start with 6S setup (Jive 100 LV and pyro 600-12)

For the voodoo, I just fabricated a CF plate to epoxy on the receiver tray. I was concerned that the cut-outs in it ( for lightening purposes) made it difficult to find a spot that looked like there would be enough to which to stck the FBL unit down for a stable, less vibration prone, installation. I put that in last night, and let the epoxy cure overnight. then i routed the aileron servo, throttle and slave cables to the FBL unit. Will upload photos as soon as I have finished crimping on the connectors at the FBl unit end sometime tomorrow. This bird is coming along nicely.

Smart move, i did not realize the cut outs until i went back and looked at the previous build photos , i have extra gyro plates from my TDR kit that may come handy in this situation

Wiring the ESC
I always color code the motor wires so if i disconnect and reconnect, i know which wire is which, so the motor will be turning the same direction. I going to be installing a Spektrun TM100 Telemetry unit, so I'll be adding a Hyperion Phase Sensor to detect motor RPM, so here am wiring a tap to a motor wire for the sensor. I insulate the taps now; I'll be configuring the ESC before adding the telemetry unit and I don't like random sparks on the work bench. I'll also monitor flight pack voltage with the telemetry unit, so I'll need taps for the voltage sensor. The Weller Digital soldering station is the best tool I have found for all my soldering jobs. Need a lit of heat for soldering on the flight pack connectors I trim the insulation back and tin a fair bit of wire. This is so I can later grab onto something solid with hand pliers in order to snap the connector into its holder. I grease the connector with a bit of silicon grease. This makes snapping the connector in the holder a... snap

Mounting the ESC
The telemetry unit will also report temperature, so here I have used some RTF High Temp silicon adhesive to mount the Spektrum temperature sensor. I don't want the sensor rubbing on the heat sink, so now it is securely mounted and wont vibrate and wont have any issue with the insulation being worn off by the metal edges of the heat sink
I adhered the ESC to the mounting plate using double sided sticky tape and used a Scorpion non-slip strap to secure the ESC to the plate I received a PM from a forum member to ask if I had issues using the Helijive v11 with the Socpion HK11 4225-1100 LE. After reading some posts online about the issue with Jive ESCs not being able to start some Scorpion motors, I decided to remove the ESC from the helicopter and send it in to Kontronik USA to get it upgraded to V13, which allegedly solves the issues. I sent in 4 Jives and Helijives I had on various projects and had them all upgraded. They should be back in a couple days NEXT: installing the HC3-SX FBL unit .

Nice wiring Job for sure and neat as well. I think updating the heli Jives was a smart move and eliminates guessing. Our kits are in transit yet, hopefully they show up sometime this week.

Mounting the Helicommand HC3-SX FBL Unit
I added a plate on which mount the HC3-SX. THe RX Plate in the Voodoo is very nicely done, and has holes in it for lightening purposes. I wanted more solid area under the FBL unit so the tapenwould stick well, and there was less change of flex in the RX Tray creating vibrations that would affect the FBL unit's performance.
I ran the throttle and slave wires to the ESC encased in braid, and above the frame cross braces above the battery The servo wires join the throttle wires near the FBL unit. The TM1000 is being showin being test fit behind the FBL unit. Plenty of room on this tray! A Loop in the wire is necessary to help inhibit vibrations from being transmitted to the FBL Unit. Yet to add: the Tail servo wire, buffer battery and Elevator Servo wires, which I will route bundled together to the right side of the FBL Unit. The tail servo is out for repair, so this has to wait until it comes back from the Futaba repair center.

JR Servo Wheels need trimming
The JR Servo wheels used for the cyclic servos have a larger OD than the Futaba wheels that are used in the manual. Because of this, they will bind on the servo to swash ball links. I cut a bit off so they would clear.

Marcos was extremely happy with the 2 flights, he also complimented the scorpion motor and said no bogging with 10S

yeap, a 4225LE, beautiful winding, small at first sight but holds power very very well. The heli is a true 600, you feel the difference with a 700 TDR, Diabolo or Banshee right from take off. It looks just a bit short on the boom in the air. It doesn't feel too light at all, actually, a bit heavier than the Logo, which it is. The tail on 105s is a dream, and the low noise of the transmission a thing to behold. The cyclic precission is perfect so far, I hope the damper o rings don't wear too quickly. Only concern is that such a low shaft and rotor make collective + cyclic a challenge. I am using +/-13 and configured Vbar with 8º though I had to lower cyclic ring a lot, close to 55 to avoid binding of the swash at min pitch and the swash guide at max pitch. I usually use 14º. So far I've likes 13º but I wonder how I could get 14º if I wanted and what happens with such a low cyclic ring if I happen to be close to max or min pitch and do need the cyclic.

Thanks for the report.
Too bad you have to run cyclic ring at low settings. Other than that it sounds good. I am back in NYC finally and will have time work on my voodoo... Once I put the finishing touches on a logo 700 ( just need to balance it and it on the main blades and finish the setup) Please do post further findings.

My latest experience with the 600, on my first flight on saturday I went far away and came back full pitch on lowest rpm. I don't have a clue what it is, probably around 1600. I had a very aggressive pitch up. Next I lowered pitch by 10 points in Vbar, again, no idea final pitch, I go by feel more and more these days, and raised the swash ring as much as I could, full 12 points to 67. Full pitch is still a lot at highest rpm, pretty good on low rpm and I didn't have any more pitch up problems for the rest of the weekend. I also lowered the main gain 5 points since I was having a bit of a bounce on tic tocs. I think I reached final setup for the time being.
